Task 30 June, 2006

1.finish multiple plotting Cool

2. working on the radio button panel, finished action recall and working on filter some data. God, I am still back on the data problem……Cry

3. reading Frank’s code for data filter and programming on that to filter some data based on the differnt risk factor

Meeting with boss

I have a chance talking to my boss about my work. It seems I spend too much time on rebuilding dataCry.  Although reading data into matlab is 75% of work to visualize them in matlab, but I suddenly realize that I’ve wasted nearly 1.5 weeks on this data transformtion (from old data format to Frank’s unfinished new data format then to approach implementing my own data format…..).  Hard work but no achievementCryCry. Maybe, I should use some dummy data first.

Anyway, it’s good to realize that I should more focus on visualuzing trajectory and building and loading surface in. Then analyze it for a specific zone.

Meeting with Maths Professor

Just finish a meeting with a mathematics professor to discuss my peoject on “trajectory stastical analysis”:

1. Google scholar: percentile curve nonparametric

2. Goole scholar: smoothing percenties repeated measures

3.Google: growth curve for kids

4 R-Statistical: http://www.r-project.org/

5. Contour of residual

6. Proportional harzards model (he recommended)

Task 19 June, 2006

Today is a bad day for me. It takes me 1.5 hour to get to office by bus, as the “National Bus” service is not very good.

1. Learning Programming help of matlab

2. Learning Curve Fitting Toolbox

It still needs time to finish programming help of matlab.

Meeting with boss

Finish half meeting with my boss and know what my future research willl look like:

1. visualze PTB data in matlab

2. building 2 crossing plane and placing it in average trajectory  to count the personal trajectory going

3. for each part of crossing plan(upper left, upper right, down left, down right), visualize the  “crossing trajectory”(trajectory cross this plan).

4. analyze these trajectory to find the relationship . It needs to create the standard for trajectory pattern for “hard” and “soft”. So I need to look at the “trajectory statistical analysis” related books.

5.  it is possible to rotate the crossing plan to analyze the relationship.
